• On 27 May my Framework 13 laptop arrived, which made me start tackling two new projects: Gentoo and Hyprland
• Considering this was the 4th time I installed at least a bare-bones Gentoo system, the base installation went like a breeze
• The advanced stages of the installation (setting up a graphical user interface and installing all desired packages) are a success so far, even though progressing this far did not come without trial and error (and some alternate routes)
• I shall migrate my local checklist to a dedicated project page here to make my adventures a little more transparent
• Today I mounted Loonside's WebDav folder under Dolphin so that I can edit the website comfortably with Kate
• At this point I can consider the laptop ready for use as a daily driver, which will allow me to slowly start the necessary preparations for the next project, which shall remain a little secret until I have something to show ;3
• There are still a few things to be done in Gentoo as well, though!
